COLLINGWOOD COFFEE SHOPS
Espresso Post
Espresso Post is a great local coffee shop in Collingwood, Ontario. When I visited it was full of people chatting with the baristas and calling them by name. That’s always a giveaway that it’s a popular spot among locals. I am pretty sure it was the owners daughter that rode her scooter through the main area. It’s a family friendly and family-owned shop that I’ll definitely be back to. It has nice ceilings, a big patio, tables inside to enjoy, and great coffee. If you’re sitting in to enjoy your coffee, you can have your coffee in an actual mug which I always appreciate. They have lots of baked goods to choose from.
Gibson & Co.: Collingwood, ON Coffee Shop
Located down a cute little pathway off the main street is Gibson & Co. Just find the sign pictured below and you’re in the right spot. This Collingwood coffee shop turns into more of a beer, wine and cocktail spot later in the day. It’s definitely has a great vibe. Don’t be fooled by the narrow pathway you walk to enter Gibson & Co., it’s a large space that’s bright and comfortable.
The decor is a mix of modern and industrial, includes an exposed brick wall, and lots of seating. It even has a large skylight for adding in more light.
Press Market
Press Market has quickly become one of my favourite coffee shops in Collingwood, Ontario. The minute I walked in the doors I knew I had found my place. The trendy decor, the healthy options, and the ability to do some local shopping all under one roof are some of the main reasons I love this place.
If you’re looking for the perfect mix of bohemian with an upscale modern vibe, you need to check out Press Market. They have classic black & white tile floors, wood tables, rattan wicker chairs, pink neon sign, pale pink accents, a feature wall with plants, and a bar to sit at.
I wasn’t in the mood for coffee when I visited and wanted to try something a little different. I ordered the ‘Golden Milk’ which is a delicious turmeric latte. It has ginger, honey, almond milk that they make in-house, and black pepper.
Duncan’s
If you’re looking to grab a coffee and breakfast or lunch, a favourite among locals is Duncan’s. I always recommend Duncan’s to people and enjoy it so much. They offer traditional breakfast options and have a cozy environment with booths to sit in, and the walls are full of original art by local artists.
Summit Social House
Summit Social House is the perfect place for people who love a good cup of coffee and bikes. Yup, you read that right. They offer bike repair in the same shop and I actually think this combo is perfect, especially for all the cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts in Collingwood. They have coffee (that they serve in actual mugs!), tea, locally baked goods and even bagels and sandwiches. Not a cyclist needing your bike repaired? No problem! They’ll still welcome you in for a delicious coffee.
Journey’s Blend Café
Journey’s Blend Café is another Collingwood Ontario coffee shop but with a very unique and heartfelt mission – they donate all proceeds, including tips, back into the community. This not-for-profit coffee shop is focused on providing meals for those in need. That is reason alone to support this great coffee shop. They have a large patio if you’re visiting in the summer and lots of seating inside as well.
Those are my top picks for the best coffee shops in Collingwood Ontario. I’ll keep updating this list as I try and discover more of them!
