Thanks so much for being here. I’m Amy. A self-proclaimed ‘wandering homebody’. I love to wander and explore new cities but I also like getting settled in, having a home base and living like a local.
When I visit new cities, I usually try to stay for a month or two (when I’m able to) to really get a feel for a place. I like to do the same things I do at home in Canada and get a feel for what it’s like to live there. I join a gym, grocery shop and find out where the locals hangout and what the locals do. It’s my favourite way to travel and experience a new city.
I’m currently based in Canada but spend at least 1-2 months every winter in Spain . It’s even where I got married! That’s how I’m able to write so many Spain travel guides.
I’m a huge fan of shopping and supporting local shops and with these local travel guides, I’m excited to share more about the places I visit and love.

When we’re travelling my husband turns into the best ‘Instagram husband’ and takes many of my pictures, navigates the map and making sure all things ‘tech’ with my online businesses are taken care of.
His main interests are firefighting and rope rescue and he has a huge love for cats, finding unique local craft beer bars, and joining me on my local adventures.
