ABOUT AMY

Thanks so much for being here. I’m Amy. A self-proclaimed ‘wandering homebody’. I love to wander and explore new cities but I also like getting settled in, having a home base and living like a local. 

When I visit new cities, I usually try to stay for a month or two to really get a feel for a place. I like to join a gym, grocery shop and find out where the locals hangout and what the locals do.

I’m currently based in Canada but spend at least 1-2 months every winter in Spain . It’s even where I got married!

I’m a huge fan of shopping and supporting local shops and with this website, I’m excited to share more about the places I visit and call home by creating local travel guides.

ABOUT DEREK

That’s my husband Derek. You’ll mostly find him behind the camera, navigating the map in new cities and making sure all things ‘tech’ with our online businesses are taken care of. His main interests are in firefighting and rope rescue and he has a huge love for cats, finding unique local craft beer bars, and joining me on my local adventures.
